Abuse and Trauma Recovery

One of the most painful parts of abuse and trauma is that the feeling of isolation.

I have been running trauma recovery groups for almost 20 years. It is these groups that were the doorway to my becoming a therapist.

Each group is special and unique, but one thing they all have in common is that moment when someone shares her story and often for the first time experiences acceptance.

I use a variety of materials during groups that will help educate you about the abuse, trauma or neglect you endured as well as ignite the healing process and help you begin to heal the wounds.
